On Your Behalf (September 2016)

NPC has been working on your behalf making submissions, attending meetings, ensuring the voices of parents of primary school children are being heard

NPC made representation at the following:

  • The Teaching Council
  • Meeting with the Minister for Education and Skills 
  • Meeting of the National Council for Special Education (NCSE) 
  • NPC Chairman & CEO meet with Director of the Teaching Council 
  • Meeting with the Secretary General of the Department of Education and Skills 
  • Meeting with Mary Byrne, Head of Special Education, NCSE 

Also on your behalf:

  • The Department of Education and Skills and the Department of Children and Youth Affairs with the assistance of NPC surveyed parents to ascertain their views and needs in relation to the supply and demand of ‘After School Care’ for school-aged children.
  • NPC AGM 24.9.2016 in the Ashling Hotel, Dublin 
  • The NPC website was redeveloped and launched on 1.9.2016
